
Terms and Conditions
These terms & conditions apply to the supply of goods or services from The Laddercentre to you the customer, and by ordering, you agree to be bound by them.
Our terms & conditions will take precedence over any terms & conditions supplied or referred to by you the customer. No part of these terms & conditions affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
ACCEPTANCE
When you place an order, it will be treated as an offer by you to purchase, and we reserve the right to accept or not accept any order at our discretion. Dispatch of your goods will signify our acceptance of your order and will constitute a legally binding contract between us the seller and you the purchaser under these terms & conditions.
PRICES & PAYMENT
All prices shown on our website include vat. The total price shown in your shopping cart when checking out is the price you will be charged.
When paying for your goods by credit card, your card details are encrypted for total security, and emailed to us along with your order.
Please note this is not an automatic payment debiting site… we process all payments manually prior to dispatch of your order.
A full vat invoice will be posted to you at the time of dispatch and will arrive separately from your goods. You may pay for your order by cheque, however we cannot dispatch any goods until cleared funds arrive in our bank account, therefore an extended delivery time must be anticipated.
DELIVERY
The Laddercentre understands that a speedy efficient delivery is expected by all of our customers and experience has shown us that you need to know the exact day on which your order will arrive.
For this reason your order will only be dispatched after we have agreed a convenient day on which you will be available at the delivery address to inspect and sign for your goods. Please nominate a convenient date on the website order form in the box marked “Comments” otherwise you will be contacted by our sales team in order to arrange a convenient day.
The only exception to this is for small items sent by post.
Most items offered on our site are available for immediate dispatch,but should your item be out of stock at the time of your order, you will be notified via telephone or email. Our delivery service is 24hr. “Next working day” as standard.
Made to order products such as mobile steps and some scaffold towers are obviously not available on a next day service and you will be contacted by our sales team with an estimated delivery date for these items.
Please note our delivery service applies to any weekdays you wish to nominate, between the hours of 8.30am to 6.00pm only.....
Saturday deliveries, before noon or before 10.30am deliveries are no problem. However we have to make an extra charge for these premium services.... our sales team will be pleased to quote you for your specific delivery requirements.
When your goods arrive it is important that you check that the items are in good condition and the quantity of items received corresponds to the quantity you are signing for.
In the unlikely event that your goods have been damaged in transit, you must refuse the delivery and contact our sales team immediately in order that we may dispatch a replacement quickly and minimise your inconvenience.
Please inform us promptly of any shortages so that we may take the matter up with our couriers and trace the missing items.
We must emphasise the importance of checking your goods thoroughly at the time of delivery as you are signing for them in good condition….
Signing as unexamined or unchecked is not acceptable and The Laddercentre will not accept responsability for damages.
Once a specific delivery day has been agreed, we will make every reasonable endeavour to ensure your goods arrive on that day, however we shall not be held liable for any consequential losses, damages or expenses incurred by you the purchaser or any third party arising directly or indirectly out of late or non delivery of your order or part thereof.
Title and risk in the goods shall pass to you the purchaser upon delivery and receipt by our courier of a signed delivery note.
RETURNS POLICY
If for whatever reason you wish to return an item, you may do this at any time up to 14 days after receiving the goods for a full refund. You must inform us in writing or by email of your intention to return the goods within this 14 day period and return the goods undamaged, in their original packaging and in a saleable condition together with the sales receipt, ensuring that the goods are adequately insured during their return journey.
You the purchaser will be responsible for return carriage costs, unless the returned goods prove defective or faulty through no fault of your own, in which case we will refund the return transport costs in full.
Only after we receive the returned goods in a saleable condition can we refund the value of the goods in full.
CANCELLATION
You may cancel your order at any time prior to dispatch by phone or email quoting your order no. |
